How coverage works
EmberCheck monitors a grid of locations across the West and resolves your property to the nearest ones. Coverage follows that grid, not a state boundary: being inside a listed state doesn't guarantee a score, and denser, fire-prone and wildland-urban-interface areas have more monitored points than others.
Because it's a grid, some addresses sit far enough from the nearest monitored point that a daily score there wouldn't faithfully reflect conditions at the home — and that can include addresses inside cities and towns, not only remote ones. When that happens we tell you plainly, rather than hand you a number we don't stand behind. Checking your address above is how you find out.
