About EmberCheck

EmberCheck is a consumer wildfire-risk service for homeowners across the western United States. It is a product of PRECEDE, the company behind PRECEDE — a predictive wildfire-risk engine used by counties, emergency managers, utilities, and insurers.

We built EmberCheck on a simple idea: the same pre-ignition intelligence that helps agencies preposition resources should be available to the people whose homes are on the line. Every destructive wildfire has a quiet window before it starts — when the brush has cured, the humidity has crashed, and the wind is about to come up. EmberCheck is built to give you that window, around the clock, for your address.

EmberCheck is a heads-up service, not an emergency-response system. It complements — and never replaces — official alerts and evacuation orders from your local authorities.
